Frequently asked questions

Do you offer online therapy in Tennessee?

Yes. I provide secure online therapy for adults and couples located anywhere in Tennessee, including Nashville, Knoxville, Memphis, and surrounding communities.

How do I start?

You can fill out the contact form, email me, or call. I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation so we can talk about what you are looking for and whether working together feels like a good fit.

What is your session fee?

Sessions are $165. I can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, and limited sliding scale availability may be discussed during consultation.

Do you take insurance?

I am not advertising as an in-network insurance provider here. Many clients use superbills to seek possible out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance plan. You can contact your insurer directly to ask about out-of-network mental health benefits.

Do you work with couples?

Yes. I work with couples who are dealing with disconnection, conflict, betrayal, avoidance, trust issues, communication problems, and recurring relational patterns.

Do you work with compulsive sexual behavior or sex addiction concerns?

Yes. I offer non-shaming therapy for compulsive sexual behavior, sex addiction concerns, secrecy, relapse patterns, sexual functioning issues, and the relationship impact of these patterns.

What kinds of concerns do you treat?

I work with relationship patterns, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-worth, life transitions, compulsive sexual behavior, sexual functioning concerns, and couples issues. I also lead modern psychoanalytic groups for adults.

Who is not a fit for your practice?

I do not work with children, and active psychosis is not a good fit for this practice setting. If you are in crisis or need immediate support, call 988 or go to the nearest emergency room.

What is therapy with you like?

My work is relational, thoughtful, and clinically grounded. We will look at symptoms, but also at the deeper patterns underneath them: attachment, family history, trauma, shame, protection, longing, and the ways you learned to survive.
